This company only generates a steady income because of it's value proposition and the outstanding work the people in the Tree Planting and Marketing departments do. I've seen A LOT of changes in the company but the amount of user-facing work generate is sooooo slow, even when the company scaled the amount of devs, departments, leads and whatnot. This puts heavy stress on the people that just want to generate their best work in the hopes that more trees will see the light of day. The potential and general motivation in this company is second to none and yet, it feels like everyone is just doing their own thing and pushing for how they envision the company to look/be/feel like for everyone else. The CEO is the humblest CEO I've ever met, but lacks the leadership skills and presence. The CTO is a crossbreed between a department public-relations and a powerpoint expert, that finds creative ways to justify or deflect he's incompetence, the CPO is a very nice guy that lacks experience or vision to deliver a high-quality product, or even to level with it's similar sized competitors (think DDG, for example). The leadership of the product area in this company is one of the worst I have ever seen.
